Join the TSO Young People’s Concert series for a special concert featuring superstar pianist Emanuel Ax and the Orchestra and young pianists from around Toronto.

Listen as 15 different piano players trade off between movements, round robin style, as they perform playful pieces, such as Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and The Carnival of the Animals. Special appearances will be made, via video, from the Toronto Zoo.

The young pianists participating include Richard Chao Gao, Amadeusz Kazubowski-Houston, Kyoko Kohno, Coco Ma, Artun Miskciyan, Marko Pejanovic, Anastasia Rizikov, Anna Vertypolokh, Sunny Zhai, and Annie Zhou, Winner of the Toronto International Piano Competition 2014.

Pianorama is part of the Young People’s Concert series and runs back-to-back performances on February 7, 2015 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m in Roy Thomson Hall. For tickets, go here.

Come to the concert half an hour early for a special pre-concert performance in the lobby!  Young People’s Concerts are performances for families with children ages 5-12.
