If you haven’t been watching SRSLY, starring Danielle Gibson and Alexandra Fiber, you’re SERIOUSLY missing out! Writers, producers, actors and BFFS, this dynamic duo delivers female-focused, hilarious web videos that we can’t get enough of. Their latest project, a quirky collaboration with LOFT had us LOLing for hours. We recently got a chance to chat with the funny ladies about winter fashion, beauty hacks and dogs with props, obviously. Enjoy!

SDTC: Firstly, we LOVE your collab with LOFT; the videos look like they were as much fun to make as they are to watch! What did you enjoy most about he process?

Thank you! It was super fun when we showed up and the first thing we were shooting was COOKIES. A Saturday morning that starts with gingerbread cookie consumption is hard to top, especially cookies wearing Taylor Swift T-Shirts. Our team has been with us since the beginning of the series, and we love working together. This shoot almost felt like our company Christmas party!

SDTC: What’s your go-to look for a holiday party?

D: You can’t go wrong with black on black on black and lots of gold accessories. It makes me feel very Kanye.

A: I love a jumpsuit for a party, because they’re warmer AND more of a conversation starter than a dress.

SDTC: Do you have a LOFT item of clothing/accessory that you’re obsessed with right now? What is it?

D: I am obsessed with SNOODS! I have SNOOD TUDE! LOFT has some great ones with maximum fuzziness- very important in a snood. Also, how much fun is it to say “snood” over and over again?!

A: Their overalls! I have been looking for the perfect pair for ages, and I was pleasantly to find them at LOFT. Soft, a great wash, ample pocket space for snacks.

SDTC: Any life hacks for looking cute while putting in minimal effort?

D: Honestly, the biggest skin care hack is being on the pill. It’s magic. My skin is luminous since being on it. Also no babies.

A: I have a meditation app on my phone that I love – taking 10 minutes on the train or my lunch break to sit and breathe – literally the least amount of effort! – makes me feel much more centered and happy. And happy is always cute.

SDTC: What makes good comedy, to you?

D: Three words: Dogs with props.

A: Two more words: Wearing hats.

SDTC: Can you tell us a lil bit about your workflow? Are you both involved in everything from writing to post, or do you divide and conquer the various aspects of production?

We’re involved with everything. We come up with the ideas, then script them out together, and do most of the pre-production on our shoots (casting, locations, props, etc). Recently we’ve been getting luxe by hiring a producer, which makes the whole process a lot easier, but we’ve still got our fingers in all the SRSLY pies.

SDTC: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

D: “It just doesn’t matter.” It’s a quotation from Animal House, and it’s real truth, guys.

A: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” A reminder that truly great things take time and help.

SDTC: What advice to do you have for somebody who is considering going into business with their BFF?

D: I would say, do you want to work with them because they’re your friend, or do you want to work with them because you guys have the same taste, drive and overall vision for a product? If it’s the former, I’d say skip it and just be buddies. If the latter, get started NOW and prepare for world domination!

A: And aways have snacks on hand – no one works well when they’re hungry.
