The film follows the happily married Margot (the ever-radiant Michelle Williams) as she becomes increasingly fascinated with Daniel, a handsome artist living across the street. During a sweltering summer in Little Portugal, Margot navigates a crisis of conscience as she weighs the entropy of her marriage against her fantasies of a new life with Daniel. The film is also a veritable ode to Toronto, with cameos from hidden gems like the pool at Trinity Bellwoods CRC, the Scrambler on Centre Island, Kensington Market, The Lakeview and Kew Beach.
Take This Waltz screens next Wednesday Jan. 15th at Paradise Theatre (1006 Bloor St W). Grab your ticket here.
