Organized by Slow Food Canada, our favourite restaurant in Toronto right now is hosting an amazing fish supper and Great Lakes discussion tomorrow evening, and it’s only $35 to attend!

Slow Food Canada is all about eating local, sustainable food and educating Canadians on the benefits of both. While guests enjoy menu delights such as corn fritters with smoked Lakefish, mussels escabeche and Thai spiced silver bass, Peter Meisenheimer, a biologist from Guelph University, will lead a discussion on the biology of the Great Lakes; how it is affecting what we can eat and the fishers whose livelihood depends on it.

Sounds like a delicious and thought-provoking evening! And if you haven’t tried Edulis yet…oh my…it’s a real treat.

It’s hard to believe tix are still left, but they are! Take your fish loving friend and GO! Full menu and event info on the Slow Fish Canada website.
