A jetsetting early riser, Danielle covers red carpets around the world, and entertainment news at home for CP24 Breakfast. During TIFF, she’ll most likely be reuniting with some of the A-list celebrities she’s interviewed in the Joe Fresh Style etalk Celebrity Lounge.

How are you preparing for TIFF right now?
I’m trying to see as many movies ahead of time as possible. I’m also trying to bank some sleep, it doesn’t necessarily work, but I’m trying.

During TIFF, where would we most likely find you at 2PM? At 2AM?
At 2pm you’ll likely find me in and around Yorkville shooting links for etalk. Or in our Joe Fresh Style® etalk Celebrity Lounge interviewing the stars. At 2am, I’m really hoping I’ll be in bed. Really, really hoping.

What has been your most memorable TIFF party to date? Why?
I would have to say our etalk festival party with P. Diddy in 2008. The energy at 299 Queen St. W was insane. To see P. Diddy killing it in our parking lot, followed by Samantha Ronson (Lindsay Lohan’s then girlfriend) DJing inside was a party I’ll never forget.

What’s your celebrity story, or moment, that gets rehashed most at dinner parties?
Jude Law was my 2007 TIFF crush. I interviewed him on the red carpet and I was SO charmed by him. That night, a girlfriend and I went to the Hyatt rooftop for a drink and I said to her that I wished Jude would show up so I could get one last look at him. No less that 20 minutes later we’re about to go get a drink and she says to me “You’re never going to believe this, he’s right behind you.” I didn’t turn around or speak to him but that’s the fun of TIFF; you never know who you’re going to find yourself in a room with.

What are three things you need to survive during TIFF?
I have flats, water and a snack in my handbag at all times.

What film are you looking forward to most this year?
I’m really looking forward to Black Swan.

If you could pick the brain of one filmmaker, who would it be?
I would have to say Woody Allen. I always fall in love with the characters in his movies. His film at this year’s TIFF, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, is no exception.

If you could grab a drink with one celeb who is attending TIFF this year, who would you choose?
I would love to grab a drink with Ryan Gosling. He’s gorgeous, funny, humble, charming and apparently to die for in his TIFF movie Blue Valentine.

What’s the first thing you’ll do once TIFF is over?
Soak. My. Feet.
