This week, we lost an incredibly influential man who touched the lives of many through his incomparable artistry and bold spirit.

Choir! Choir! Choir! and the AGO have teamed up to honour David Bowie’s legacy by inviting Toronto to perform one of his best-known songs in three-part harmony. What better place to pay tribute to one of the most indelible and influential artists of the past 50 years than the AGO, which hosted the groundbreaking exhibition David Bowie is in 2013?

This Saturday (January 16), join more than 500 voices in Walker Court to sing David Bowie’s classic song “Space Oddity” as arranged by Daveed Goldman & Nobu Adilman of Choir! Choir! Choir! You will be given a lyric sheet and will learn the parts together. After singing it through a number of times, the song will be filmed for what will surely become a great video to share with friends, family and the world. Don’t miss out!

When: Saturday, January 16, 6:30 pm – 8:15 pm (Doors open at 6:00 pm)
Where: Walker Court at the AGO
Tickets: Members $10 | Public $12 | Standing room only. Tickets are limited and available online only starting January 13 at 12 pm. Ticket holders will occupy the floor and balcony surrounding Walker Court.
