Calling all lager lovers and brew buffs: the 2012 edition of Winter Warmer Montreal begins on Thursday February 23 and runs until February 25 at the Theatre Plaza (6505 St-Hubert), in association with the Montreal en lumière Festival. In its second year, organizers have accumulated a vast array of Quebec and local Montreal micro-brewers – and their best brews – for a true beer-tasting extravaganza.

Expect vintage ales, scotch ales, maple beer, Imperial Black IPA, barley wine and so, so many more beverages will be served – check out the event’s Facebook page, which includes a great list of all the brewers and beers in attendance!

In addition, gourmet chef Philippe Wouters (chef at Broue Pub Bruhaha) has designed a special gastronomical menu for the evening, pairing various beers with some of his great dishes. Live music by Dan Livingstone & The Griffintown Jug Addicts will also be provided.

Tickets are $95 each (for one evening), however, this means unlimited beer and food for the entire evening and, most importantly, an event beer glass. Consider buying tickets in advance (on their website, linked above) as they are selling out quickly!
