Sept 9-12 Hear No Evil @ 103 Ossington Ave. So THAT’S what’s up with the weird scaffolding across the street from Levack Block! Music, art, dance, installations and more! Created by Osvaldo Sales Gallery and Todo Space. $10

Sept 9-13 Junction Arts Festival @ Dundas Street West, from Keele St. to Quebec Ave. The 17th year of the fest, transforming The Junction into an art destination.

Sept 10-Oct 10 New Work/Preface to Crossing the Magpie Bridge @ Birch Libralato, 129 Tecumseth St. ‘Giddy distillations of dancing legs’ from Cathy Daley and Song Period Calligraphy-inspired paintings from Andy Patton.

Sept 10 Landscapes @ Engine Gallery, 37 Mill St. Bldg 37, The Distillery District. A collection of ‘constructed souvenirs’ by Martha Fleury. 7-10 pm.

Sept 9-19th Imaginary Lovers @ Stephen Bulger Gallery, 1026 Queen St. W. Actor, director, and writer Don McKellar presents a series of cell phone video love letters.

Sept 9-Oct 26th In a City @ Justina M. Barnicke Gallery, Hart House, U of T. Mark Lewis’ film from the Canadian Pavilion of The Venice Biennale.

Sept 10-19th A Vicious Undertow @ The Drake Hotel, 1150 Queen St. W. This new work from Jesper Just explores the mechanics of audience reaction to film melodrama. 9 pm-4 am.

Sept 10-19 Green Porno: Scandalous Sea @ Royal Ontario Museum, The Spirit House, Main Floor. 100 Queen’s Park. Isabella Rosselini’s sculptural installation about sexual hijinks in the great oceans.

Sept 10-20th Phantoms of Nabua @ MOCCA, 952 Queen St. W. Thai filmmaker Apichatpong Weerasethakul takes his recurring themes into a political spectrum.

Sept 10-19 Civilization, The Shape of Things, This Transition Will Never End #6 @ Bell Lightbox, King St & John St. Three films will be projected each night of the fest onto the Bell Lightbox. 8 pm-12 am
