8pm. The Belle of Winnipeg is a hilarious and touching original production inspired by the silent film era. The play follows Belle, one of the filles du roi sent from France to Canada in an arranged marriage, as she ditches her hubby at the altar and flees from Montreal to the frontier town of Winnipeg. 8pm. Fixt Point presents Tale of A Town, a multimedia performance by Lisa Marie DiLiberto. What happens when a big box store threatens to move into the Parkdale hood disguised as a mom and pop shop?
