If sky-high rent has got you down, there’s new hope: Artists and their families can now apply to live at eighty affordable live/work studios in Artscape Bayside Lofts, currently in development at 30 Merchants’ Wharf. This is Artscape’s largest affordable housing project for artists and their families, allowing them to continue to live, work and contribute their creativity to the city. 

“Artists are a vital part of Toronto’s vibrant and dynamic communities,” says Sean Gadon, Director, Affordable Housing Office. “Creating these rental homes is an important step forward in the City of Toronto’s efforts to deliver affordable housing solutions for residents who would otherwise be priced out of the city.”

To be considered for tenancy, applicants must register for and attend one of the following Information Sessions taking place at Artscape Daniels Launchpad, Sugar Hall A:

Wednesday, March 27, 2019: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Sunday, March 31, 2019: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Saturday April 06, 2019: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Tuesday April 09, 2019: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
