Wednesday
Casablanca, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange @ The Bloor Cinema, 506 Bloor St. W. Three of the greatest films of all time. If you’ve ever wanted a crash course in films that will give you an edge come Film 101, this would be it. Here’s looking at you, HAL. Bogart and Bergman at 4:15, Space at 6:30 pm, Clockwork Orange at 9:15.

Epicure’s Revue: Bottle Shock @ The Revue Cinema, 400 Ronecesvalles Ave. This film, which chronicles California’s entry onto the world stage of wines in the 1970’s, stars lots of really sexy Napa Valley hippies, and Professor Snape. A great movie to take your mama to. 6:45 pm

Double Bill: Clueless and American Psycho @ Toronto Underground Cinema, 186 Spadina Ave. Go from light to dark, and clueless to certifiable all in one night. A double bill is $14, but if you’re the type of person who feels the need to choose between iconic Virgins Who Can’t Drive and charming psychotic maniacs, then WHATEVER, it’s only 8 bucks. Cher’s on at 7, Christian Bale hits the screen at 9:30. Clueless also plays again on Sunday at 7 pm.

Thursday
Please Give @ The Royal Cinema, 608 College St.
From the director of Friends With Money, Oliver Platt, Catherine Keener, and Amanda Peet team up in this heartwarming film about families in New York City, and waiting for old ladies to die in the interest of real estate. We’ve all been there. 9:15 pm.

Friday
Double Bill: Basic Instinct and Showgirls @ Toronto Underground Cinema, 186 Spadina Ave. If you haven’t seen Jessie Spano’s vag on the big screen, you really need to. It’s a life-altering experience. So is being a Vegas stripper. Who knew? This Paul Verhoeven double bill is not for the faint of heart. 7 pm.

The Room @ The Royal Cinema, 608 College St. This cult classic has had audiences everywhere in hysterics over it’s unintentional hilarity. Beloved by David Cross, Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, and lots of other famous folks, it’s time you found out what the madness is all about. 11:30 pm.

Saturday
Sweetgrass @ The Royal Cinema, 608 College St. COWBOYS! This doc follows the last real cowboys standing, herding their sheep into the Montana mountains for summer pasture. Apparently things get violent. MASTODONS? 7 pm.
