Last week Cascata Blu unveiled their 2013 resort wear line with a catwalk on the Spoke Club roof. Designer Cheryl Gushue used a mixture of prints and inspiration from bright coloured graffiti to create a beautiful and versatile line. Almost every piece can be worn in a variety of ways, including being reversible! The line, named for the Italian words “blue waterfall”  is made and designed exclusively in Canada.

The show began with an on site graffiti artist who used a swimsuit and dress, which designer Cheryl Gushue later told us she had created on the same day, as her canvas. Guests sipped cocktails and enjoyed views of the Toronto skyline and scantily clad models who rocked the collection with beachy mermaid hair and graphic nails.

I truly adore the line and judging from their smiles, so do CBC’s Steven and Chris.
