Saturday, November 21st: if you’ve got two bucks and a love for all things homemade, hustle over to Lucy McCormick School (2217 Dundas St West) and quench your craft thirst. Lucy McCormick is a school that services students with intellectual disabilities, and is hosting its first annual craft sale from 10am to 2:30pm. The event will feature fifty vendors from around town- artisans and craftspeople with their finest on display, alongside “lucy crafts” – cards, jams, and other fabulous finds made by students from the school’s work education program. Funds raised at the event will support specialized equipment and field trips for the students, and hey, who doesn’t love something one-of-a-kind made with that little extra love? Grab a gal pal, ask your mum for some pocket change for old time’s sake- hey, bring her with you! – and go scoop up some deals!
