Discover Dance, a new lunch-hour series, is coming to the Sony Centre this holiday season. At this free event series, you’ll get up-close and personal with some of Toronto’s incredible dance artists. Hosted by the award-winning choreographer Nova Bhattacharya, Discover Dance offers guests the opportunity to see dance and share their thoughts; hear stories and ask questions; and discover how dance forms from near and far are being woven into Toronto’s cultural scene.

The next featured dancer is Yoeme/Mexican performer, choreographer and instructor Norma Araiza. Norma likes to blend dance, theatre, vocals, percussion and text with cultural and traditional themes in a contemporary context. Armed with a Master’s Degree in Dance Ethnology, she currently works as an EXA Therapist at Hospice Toronto working with people with life-threatening illnesses through the arts.

If you love to move your mind and body, head to the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (1 Front St E) on Wednesday, December 12 at noon. Get all the deets here.
