What if we told you that you could make your favourite Second Cup bevvies in the comfort of your home? Well….IT’S TRUE! Nothing beats and heat and gets us moving quite like an iced latte or iced coffee apres a mid-afternoon slump. Here are two easy recipes we love. Enjoy!

Iced Latte Recipe

  • Fill a tall glass 2/3 full with ice
  • Prepare a fresh double shot of espresso
  • Pour double shot of espresso over ice
  • Top up glass with dairy (or almond milk) of your choice
  • Stir and serve

TIPS:

Espresso should always be used immediately after preparation (don’t be lazy!)

In the mood for an Iced Mocca? Stir chocolate syrup into the espresso shot first!

Watching calories? Embracing healthier choices? Switch to skim milk

Put sugar into your espresso cup/pitcher before you drop the shot so it dissolves completely

Homemade Iced Coffee Recipe

  • Using an at-home system of your choice, brew a pot of coffee using 2 tb of ground coffee per cup
  • Transfer the hot coffee to a carafe or pitcher and refrigerate until cold, about 1.5 – 3 hours
  • Stir the pitcher of coooooold coffee and pour into a tall glass with ice cubes (extra points if they’re a cute shape)
  • Add milk, sugar, sweetener or syrup to taste, stir, and ENJOY!

TIPS:

If you’re looking for  richer, more intense flavour use a darker roast

Freeze coffee in ice cube trays for extra coffee flavour (!!!)

Iced coffee can be tough to sweeten with granulated sugar, try making a syrup using sugar and hot water first
