There’s nothing quite like an outdoor movie on a summer night—cozying up on a picnic blanket with some snacks, waiting for the sun to go down, and enjoying a movie with a cool evening breeze and a beautiful city view.

It’s the perfect activity to do with the family, as a date night, or with a group of friends—and most of these events are FREE! Outdoor movies have been a summer tradition in Toronto for years, and 2026 is no exception.

In addition to long-running festivals like the Toronto Outdoor Picture Show and Lavazza IncluCity, there are several BIAs and local arts organizations across the city hosting open-air screenings this summer. We wanted to make your movie-going experience as easy as possible—so we’ve gathered every outdoor screening that we could find happening in Toronto this summer.

Have a look at the outdoor movies below, and plan an unforgettable evening under the stars this summer.
