You’ll want your camera handy as you take in The Magic of Lanterns, the kaleidoscopic Chinese lantern display on now at the Botanical Garden. Over 700 richly hued traditional lanterns will be on display, along with the thematic lanterns. And this year, to salute the Insectarium’s 20th anniversary, giant lanterns in the shapes of grasshoppers, dragonflies and butterflies have been added along the all along museum paths. Visitors can also enjoy jasmine-scented green tea, and Chinese pastries.

The Magic of Lanterns runs nightly until October 31.
