For the premiere of her film The End of Pinky at TIFF, Claire Blanchet got her head-to-toe festival look at Winners! “From my press day to my film premiere red carpet and everything in between, the designer styles from The Runway at Winners had me camera-ready for every moment of my first festival experience,” said the young Montreal filmmaker, who looked radiant for her big night.

Claire grew up in Fredericton and studied dance, studio, art, and philosophy before her love of drawing led her to Concordia University’s animation program. The End of Pinky was selected by the Short Cuts Canada program at TIFF and premiered on Sept. 11. Adapted from author Heather O’Neil, The End of Pinky shows the grittier side of Montreal’s Lower Main neighbourhood through brilliant animation.

Congrats, Claire! You looked fabulous, and we can’t wait to follow your career and see what story you will tell next with your imaginative mind.
