On March 29th, you’re invited to attend Gala of Light in support of Street Haven at the Crossroads Women Shelter. The event will be hosted by Sarah Taylor, at Easy & the Fifth (225 Richmond Street West).

Street Haven at the Crossroads has an undeniably crucial impact on women who are in need in this city. It is a unique, multi-program agency including medical services, addiction services, a learning centre and recreational activities that support homeless women in downtown Toronto.

The Gala of Light is an evening with a goal to raise awareness and funds for a charity that is serving our own city with impressive and high impact. Hosted by television personality Sarah Taylor, the first annual Gala of Light will feature a silent auction accompanied by delicious appetizers, a cocktail reception and live music by DJ Lissa Monet and Ysovani.  Among the many featured,  the auction items include a weekend stay at The Thompson Hotel NYC, Carole Tanenbaum Vintage Collection Jewelry, a TNT Gift Card, a signed Toronto Maple Leaf jersey and more.

Gala of Light hopes to raise funds to support an emergency shelter, a two year addiction after-care program, the 33 women living in supportive housing, and the 6000 women who use the centre annually.
