So many factors can impact our mental health and, in turn, our potential for leadership across the board. So, the question is, how can we strengthen our OWN mental health so we can be effective leaders in our communities?

The Women’s Mental Health & Leadership Conference, hosted by Women’s Mental Health Talks at York University, will provide women with strategies they can use to enhance their mental health and confidence to be impactful leaders who challenge systems that perpetuate injustice and who manifest positive changes in their communities.

This one-night event will cover Conflict Resolution in the Workplace (by Osgoode Hall Law School Mediation Clinic), Strategies for Healing from Trauma (Megan Kirk Chang—Global Mindfulness Collective), and Self-Care, Mental Health, & Women’s Leadership (WMHT Executives). Speakers will also include Rhonelle Bruder (Founder of the RISE Initiative), Ayana Webb, Brittany Maclean (former Canadian Olympic swimmer), Tashin Rodoshi and Ariella Kantorowitz – Sapers.

This event will take place on Monday, February 11 from 6 to 10 p.m. at SSC Convention Centre, York University (4700 Keele St). Get all the details and grab your ticket here.
