Each year, March 8 marks International Women’s Day, bringing us together to raise awareness about the daily injustices women experience around the world. But once the day passes, often times so does the conversation.

We believe women’s issues should be discussed all-year round – not just one day. In light of recent events, it is more important than ever to keep fighting the pervasive misogyny and blatant injustice that still exists.

This year, the MATCH International Women’s Fund is coining today, November 16th, “Not International Women’s Day.” To raise awareness, they’ve developed they #LotteryofLife, a quiz based on the concept that where you’re born can determine your opportunities for a healthy, safe and prosperous life. Fact is: The odds are stacked against women, girls and trans people around the world.

We can start leveling the playing field when we start understanding where we’re at, and how much further we have to go. Take the quiz here.
