Ghost Pine Launch @ Drawn and Quarterly   
Ghost Pine: All Stories True 2010, a new book from Invisible Publishing, collects the best of thirteen years of Jeff Miller’s seminal Ghost Pine zine. Over the years Miller has sold nearly ten thousand copies of his long-running, self-published zine, putting him at the forefront of a thriving underground cultural movement. This Friday at Drawn and Quarterly, Miller will read his most beloved stories as well as selections from the previously unpublished stories that appear in this collection for the first time, as part of his cross-Canadian book launch tour.

Shambles, Special Noise & Duzheknew @ Friendship Cove 
Post-punk & noise bands shred things up this Friday at Friendship Cove, with all proceeds going to the Montreal Fringe Festival production of “I Like Cowboys.”

Live the Life You Love @ Centre Holistique OM West  
Inspired by the theme of Bhakti Yoga (the yoga of love & devotion), Live the Life You love is hosted by Yasmin F. Gow, yoga instructor and director of Om West, and Ron Chérilus, I AM Coach & occupational therapist. This weekend workshop aims to help you become more joyful, playful and healthy; while your further enrich your life and yoga practice. The workshop includes mediation, yoga and breathing practices, visualization coaching and lunch.  

$225 for full weekend / $120 for Saturday only.
