Denis Gagnon shows all @ Montreal Museum of Fine Arts
Montreal’s fashion darling Denis Gagnon showcases his work in an exhibition (running until February 13, 2011) combining photographs, projections and of course, the clothes themselves.

Booka Shade @ Club Soda
Germany comes a-callin’, with Frankfurt-based house duo Booka Shade bringing their Euro-flavour to Montreal, following the release of their fourth album – More! – this past May.

Stelarc Lecture and Vernissage @ Concordia
Australian hybrid artist Stelarc, recognized for his use of prosthetics, robotics, and virtual reality systems, has a stem-cell generated, extra ear implanted in his arm (I’m not sure what I just said, either.) You need to see it to believe it. Concordia University will host this vernissage and lecture at its Loyola campus.

Hiphop night @ Korova
Buy a few fat PBR’s and a new pair of dancing shoes – a Friday night at Korova is the perfect time and place to kick back and let out the week’s worries with like-minded DJs. Spinning new and old (with an emphasis on awesome), the music is chill and the dance floor is always packed.

Punk Rock Bazaar @ Katacombes

Amid the numerous fall bazaars currently underway across the city, it’s time to try something new, gang. Katacombes presents its first Punk Rock Bazaar, a collection of local vendors selling jewellery, comic art, photography, music and more. A few punk bands are scheduled to perform, and cupcakes will served. How bazaar, how bazaar.
