Fall is always a great time for new music, but this year has an incredibly epic lineup of album releases to woo you. Kayne will finally stop teasing us and GIVE US THE ALBUM ALREADY, Sufjan Stevens has taken a new musical direction, and Sean Lennon and girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl serenade you with their adorable couple music. Get excited.

Belle & Sebastian: Write About Love (October 12)
Not that you would need a reason to buy the longtime indie legends’ latest album, but the band has made it that much more essential by teaming up with adorable actress Carey Mulligan for their title track “Write About Love.”

Sufjan Stevens: The Age of Adz (October 12)
It’s been five years since Sufjan Stevens last released a full-length album and he’s clearly undergone a musical transformation, becoming a more electronic version of himself. While longtime fans may have a hard time initially adjusting to the new direction he’s taken, they’ll be happy to know that beneath the dub effects, Sufjan’s touching lyrics remain intact.

Kings of Leon: Come Around Sundown (October 19)
The band’s follow-up to their multi-platinum 2008 album Only By The Night has been one of the most anticipated albums of the year. The band has promised fans that they’re in for a treat

Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger: Acoustic Sessions (October 26)
Sean Lennon and his girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl are one of those cute, attractive couples who just happen to make beautiful music together. Recorded in their apartment, the LP features Lennon on guitars and banjo and Muhl on keyboard playing songs that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Matt & Kim: Sidewalks (November 2)
This Brooklyn-based duo migrated to Atlanta to work on their third album, teaming up with producer Ben Allen, who is best known for his collaborations with Animal Collective and Gnarls Barkley. Obviously, you can expect good things.

Kid Cudi: Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager (November 9)
After having its release date pushed back several times, Kid Cudi’s sophomore album is finally ready – hooray! Switching gears from the dreams and visions-focus of his debut, the Cleveland rapper gets real on his sequel album. Collaborations include Cage, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, and Pharrell.

Kanye West: Dark Twisted Fantasy (November 16)
Can we all stop hating Kanye yet? Given all the buzz he’s managed to create from getting a Twitter account and leaking songs every Friday, you can bet on his fifth studio album being a huge hit. Collaborations with people like Drake, Kid Cudi and M.I.A. ain’t bad either.

Nicki Minaj: Pink Friday (November 23)
Probably my biggest girl crush at the moment, Barbie-loving Nicki Minaj is finally ditching the mix tape format and releasing her first real album. Often compared to influential female rappers like Lil’ Kim and Salt N Peppa, this gal’s got a knack for rhymes.
