There’s a little bit of the neon vagabond currently displaying itself at the Nowhereland pop up shop. Not-so hidden away at the back of Love of Mine Boutique, (781 Queen St. W.) the pop up shop is the brainchild of three friends (Andrea Ciurria, Trish Padlan, and Jessica Sack-Tina).

Concerned by the lack of affordable  Canadian e-retailers, these ladies launched Nowhereland online this past July. Clothing is certainly trend-conscious, with pieces that seem like Rumi Neely on ecstasy. It’s bright, it’s tight–it’s shiny (sometimes all at once), while still retaining a certain sartorial sharpness.

Standouts for us included a black cloth birdcage cut out top—a perfect layering piece if you’re feeling like channeling grunted out goth.  Another standout was the black mesh body con dress, which yes, is as risqué as it sounds—but still perfect for a wild night out with girls.

The aesthetic is certainly very L.A, with touches of Tokyo street style. If you’re a fan of the colourful clash, pairing a few of these pieces together would be perfect for getting your autumn rave on.

If online shopping seems still a strange and mysterious concept, you can drop in to Love of Mine between August 15th and September 30th to score some great finds.
