The Next Stage Community Booster, presented by Toronto Fringe is a four-day event (Jan 21 – Jan 24) that is loaded with exciting original programming intended to “be a boost of energy, ideas, creativity and friendship for those enduing an isolated pandemic winter.” It’s the surge of vibrant life that January needs.

So, what exactly is it and how do you get involved?

The event will comprise of digital performances from acclaimed indie artists, a half-day conference for the indie theatre community, livestreamed conversations on urgent topics, a digital Self-Care Hub, audio experiences, and more. Storytelling! Short Plays! Calming Calligraphy! A crochet critter workshop! The variety of events to choose from is impressive, and sure to uplift spirits and inspire imaginations.

“I am so happy to be able to invite you all to join us at the Next Stage Community Booster. While we know this is not our usual offering at this time of year, we hope you will find some comfort in coming together online to enjoy some art, take a baking class with Morro and Jasp, or join us for one of our many panels or workshops,” says Lucy Eveleigh Executive Director, Toronto Fringe.

Become a Member for $100 to access all of the online content, or grab a ticket to focus in on an area you’re most interested in. For $25 you can attend all of the theatre or storytelling acts; $15 will grant you access to all of the audio experiences, or TWYC (Tip What You Can), to dive into the Self-Care Hub.
