Looking for an extra special treat for that extra special someone? Look no further. The Nutcracker-themed High Tea at the Shangri-La Hotel is perfect way to celebrate the holiday season with the people you love.

The Nutcracker is back at the National Ballet, so warm up your frosty afternoons with this delightfully unique High Tea inspired by the dances in Act II of the ballet and created exclusively by Toronto’s executive pasty chef Kate Seigel.

These indulgent themed pastries include the “Spanish Dance,” a dark chocolate cinnamon cremeux, and the “Arabian Dance,” a coffee cardamom creme diplomat. Guests can savour selected tea cakes and scones served with clotted cream, house-made berry jam and “Bee-Wall” honey harvested from the hotel’s new beehive installation located on the third floor garden terrace. (Yes, they have their own beehive.) All the while, sip your favourite tea chosen from a menu of over 75 premium selections.

The Nutcracker High Tea is available December 1st, 2015 to January 3, 2016 from 2:00-5:00PM.
