We could all use a little de-stressing, though shutting yourself off from the world – even just for an hour – is easier said than done. That’s where Mind Matters comes in. Whether you want to become more efficient, learn how to stay calm, or learn how to have a more productive mind, they’ve got a workshop to help you out.

Their latest workshop, happening Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Drake Hotel (1150 Queen St. W.), is all about de-stressing through the use of art, colours, collaging, and creative writing. The session will be led by Toronto-based painter/director/writer Laura Dawe, whose credits include the 2010 pre-apocalyptic feature film Light Is The Day and a 2012 short called Dreemer.

Tickets are $30 and can be purchased here. No artistic experience required!
