Attention plant lovers: the Horticultural Societies of Parkdale and Toronto’s annual plant fair and craft sale is happening this Saturday at Roncesvalles United Church (214 Wright Ave.).

Shop from a wide array of plants and amazing garden finds PLUS arts and crafts from local artisans like LEAF, Urban Harvest, Liz Tudor from Botanical Artists of Canada, and Katy/ie & Laura; praying mantis eggs to hatch at home (they serve as a natural pest control for gardens); bee nests for solitary, gentle, pollinator bees; and home-baked treats from the Hort Cafe. There will also be people on hand to answer all your questions on plants, soil, eco-friendly gardening, tree care, and more!

The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine. Admission is free and funds raised will be supporting local greening initiatives, community garden projects, and horticultural educational outreach through the Horticultural Societies of Parkdale and Toronto.
