After popping up across Montreal the past couple of years, Nite Markt is taking its event on the road to promote local shopping in other cities—including here in Toronto.

This Friday, February 28, from 8 p.m. to midnight, the Gladstone Hotel (1214 Queen St. W.) will host the first Nite Markt outside Montreal with an evening of shopping, drinks, and music. It’s a great opportunity to discover a variety of local businesses and artists specializing in everything from clothing and accessories to skincare to printmaking and lots more. (And if you’re in the mood to do some singing, Fameless Karaoke will be happening in the Gladstone’s Melody Bar from 10:30 p.m. onwards.)

Over 40 vendors will be selling their goods, including Sad Truth SupplyCovenEm Me MaSecret Planet Print ShopStasis PreservesPop Pop BloomSweet Pea StudioSarisha BeautyThaleia By Tala, and Wooden Curves. Admission is free!
