Chrismukkah, here we come!

It was fifteen years ago that Seth Cohen introduced the world to “the greatest super-holiday known to mankind” on the first-ever Chrismukkah episode of The O.C. TONIGHT (December 20), The Bait Shop Backing Band–made up of some of Ontario’s best musicians–will be performing tracks from the show’s seminal soundtrack to celebrate Seth, Summer, Ryan and Marissa while also raising money for a good cause.

Hosted by Indie88’s Lana Gay, the event will include performances by Andrew Hyatt, Charlotte Cornfield, Chrisy Hurn of Basement Revolver, Damian Abraham of Fucked Up, DCF, Katie of Dizzy, Ellevator, The Elwins, Giant Hand, Harrison, Huttch, members of Jane’s Party, Lydia Ainsworth, Sam Cash, members of The Trews, Warren Frank of The Kents, WILLA, and other special guests.

Tickets can be purchased for $20 in advance or $25 at the door. All proceeds will be donated to SKETCH, a community arts initiative engaging young people who are homeless or living on the margins, and Children’s Book Band Canada, which provides book ownership to children in Toronto who might otherwise not have the opportunity.
