While many publishers are going digital-only these days, the zine scene is still thriving in Toronto. See for yourself at Zine Dream!

The annual small press fair returns this Sunday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the second floor of the Museum of Contemporary Art (158 Sterling Rd.) with a selection of over 100 independent and do-it-yourself creators of zines, comics, books, prints, handmade crafts, music, and more. Attendees will also be able to browse and shop Art Metropole’s back catalogue of zines—featuring work by local and international artists collected during their 45-year history—at their storefront space on the ground floor of the art gallery all weekend long.

Zine Dream kicks off with a launch party Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the MOCA with readings and musical performances by Amy Lam, Carl Didur, Hoover Party, Quaker Parents, and a secret guest. Cover is $10.
