Last weekend, The Carlu came alive for AfroChic: Toronto’s annual community celebration of Afro-Caribbean music, visual art, fashion and culture. This year’s headliner was queen and legend Erykah Badu.

As for the sweet bud, we’ve been loving how Aurora Cannabis has been so active in supporting Toronto arts events. We attended some very cool talks at the House of Aurora at NXNE; during PRIDE they presented Queerskins, a love story in partnership with Inside Out; and now AfroChic. “We are delighted to support AfroChic 2018 because this multi-disciplinary arts festival is such a wonderful representation of the beauty, strength and diversity of Toronto and its vibrant Afro-Caribbean community,” says Paula Whitmore, Director, Partnerships & Events, Aurora Cannabis.

AfroChic was all-around good vibes, and these photos by Ostato Erebor capture just that.
