Toronto’s street festival season is officially in full swing!

Dundas West Fest, the annual block party stretching across the Dundas West strip from Ossington to Lansdowne, returns for its sixth year this Friday and Saturday, June 1-2, with over 40 licensed patios, 200 local vendors, music, art, dancing, games and more. The party kicks off Friday evening with a night market experience and continues into Saturday for a full day of family-friendly fun.

This year’s festival will feature five music performance areas, where you’ll be able to watch the world’s largest street brass ensemble, immersive theatre marching band The Teeny Tiny Music Show, and homegrown indie acts like Possum and Taylor Knox.

There will also be a sneak preview of the Toronto Fringe Festival on the Community Stage at Dufferin Street, a self-guided art crawl, Instagram scavenger hunt, yoga classes, poetry readings and free music lessons. And you definitely won’t want to miss Magic in the Park, which will see The Lockhart bar transform St. Clarens Parkette (1717 Dundas St. W.) into a magical carnival complete with contortionists and fire-breathing buskers.

Dundas West Fest runs Friday from 6 p.m. to midnight and Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight. Magic In The Park runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday.
