When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When life gives you snow, throw a winter fair!

This Friday, Long Winter Fair returns for a fourth installment of live music, visual art, games, food, and dance to help get Toronto through this long and cold winter. This installment promises to be bigger and brighter than anything that has come before it, with a street fair on Dovercourt Rd. (south of Queen St. W.), the usual madness at the Great Hall (1087 Queen St. W.), bands & art at 99 Sudbury, as well as dance & performances at the Theatre Centre (1115 Queen St. W.).

Bruce Peninsula, Choir! Choir! Choir!, Hush Pup, and Nautiluss are just some of the many bands performing. There will also be hot apple toddies, mulled wine, Japanese street food, psychic readings, an arcade, and some surprises for the first 250 people through the doors of 99 Sudbury and the Great Hall. All ages welcome!

$20-25 advance tickets available online. Street fair runs 6-11 p.m., all other venues open at 7 p.m.
