Get ready to be wowed by over 100 pieces of art! We love Workman Arts for being an organization that supports artists in this city, specifically those of us who are living with a mental health issue or substance-use challenge, and the Being Scene show is a celebration of this community that brings together 60+ artists.

Attending any art show with such a huge display of work is exciting, but Being Scene has a special focus on installation art, media art, photography, contemporary painting & a feature portrait wall. Expect a wide range of conceptual and material approaches that give a voice to our diverse life experiences.

On Wednesday, February 27, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., there will be an Exclusive VIP Preview ticketed event with performances by the Bruised Years Choir, Mindful MCs and more; the public Opening Reception will be on Thursday, February 28, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., with a musical performance by James Buffin; and the FREE show will run until March 23.

Definitely find time to check this out, and click here to get more info on some of the artist talks and special events that will be taking place over the duration of the show.
