How can venturing into a psychedelic state impact our sense of well-being?

Recent research suggests that some psychedelics are effective in treating mental illnesses like depression and PTSD. More research is needed to examine what these states reveal about our consciousness and how we can use these compounds to enrich our lives.

Now, a new four-week series at U of T examines psychedelics from a theoretical framework. No prior knowledge is required, but you can expect a crash course in the cognitive sciences.

With your facilitator, Daniel Greig, you’ll learn tips on how to work through challenging experiences, and practices that can help facilitate transcendent experiences, such as Active Imagination and yogic breathing techniques.

The Psychedelic State kicks off November 8 at 100 George St. Get tickets here.
