Consider it a festival primer, a colourful kick-off, or just one helluva dance party. However you slice it, the Inside Out Festival Launch Party, happening this Friday (May 5th) at St. James Cathedral Centre, will tease the hot lineup of queer cinema that is about to hit the city.

Taking place May 25 to June 4, the Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival will celebrate 27 years of wide-ranging films that entertain, inspire, and confront challenges in the LGBT community.

This year, the Special Presentations and Icons programs will honour queer artists and activists that have been fearless leaders to ignite change. Check out recent programming announcements and be the first to snag your tickets here.

As long-time friends and fans of the fest, Shedoesthecity is proud to return as a media sponsor for a very special screening. (WE ARE DRIPPING WITH EXCITEMENT!) We will reveal details soon, but for now, join us on Friday to raise a glass and shake a tail to a bold film festival that means so much to our city.

The Inside Out Festival Launch Party is on Friday, May 5 at 7:30 PM at St. James Cathedral Centre (65 Church Street, between King and Adelaide). Suggested donation: $10.
