The re-designed Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel has over 50 years’ worth of stories weaving together travelers and locals, Tim Reardon, Area General Manager said. “We’re thrilled to be a part of this collaboration with Reese’s Book Club, the Internet’s biggest book club, and bring our communities together through a shared love of reading.”

According to the Reese’s Book Club website, “each month, Reese, our founder (and book-lover-in-chief) chooses a book with a woman at the center of the story.” First launched in 2017 in partnership with the actress’ company, the club has garnered over 2.5 million members. From coming-of-age tales to romantic thrillers, each book seeks to deepen readers’ connections to authors, books, and to ourselves.

Witherspoon selected First Lie Wins by Ashley Elston as her January favourite. The novel follows Evie Porter, an all-round “Southern girl” defined by her “perfect, doting boyfriend, house, and white picket fence house.” Similarly, Witherspoon has elevated the profiles of many female authors including Cesca Major, R.F. Kuang, Bolu Babalola and Tia Williams.
