Spring is springing and the weather couldn’t be nicer.  This season with its pinks and flowers always brings a breath of youth to the city. Why not take advantage of it and relive your childhood a little? Here are some fun things to make you feel like a kid again!

There’s nothing like a little childish wonder.  The Vancouver Aquarium’s adorable otters, acrobatic dolphins, and mind-blowingly large fish never fail to excite.

While you’re in the Stanley Park area, grab some rollerblades and get on the sea wall! It has to be rollerblades too, biking is too adult.  Bonus points if you wear the neon purple/green nineties arm and knee pads.

Who hasn’t taken a field trip to visit Science World? Get silly with the interactive exhibits you grew up with, and learn something new from the ones that rotate yearly.  If tons of screaming children aren’t your style, go on one of their adult nights.  (Hint: go on one anyways, they serve booze!)

Next time you’re produce shopping at Granville Island, check out their kids market for a kick.  They have a wicked book store with all the latest Berenstain Bear books, a giant puppet store, and an arcade upstairs.

Gelato is tastiest on a nice day.  Though it’s well known my absolute favourite is Bella Gelateria, the equally famous La Casa Gelato is a little more kid friendly.  They literally have hundreds of flavours, including combinations only your wildest inner child could dream.
