Oktoberfest: More than just an excuse to wear leiderhosen and drink great brews. Beau’s is throwing its annual fundraiser, where you can toast amazing bands, an amazing cause, and a roaring good time. This seems like the ultimate fall activity.
At the three day festival, taking place near Ottawa at Vankleek Hill, local restaurants will offer takes on Bavarian food, bands like Hollerado, Elliott Brood and Plants & Animals will perform, and you can take part in malt sack races, sausage eating competitions, or a keg toss, and sample offerings from the Home Brew competition! There’s also a Beer School for the real brew nerds, in which internationally acclaimed brewers and experts with talk all things hoppy, malty, and foamy.
Funds from the fest support Operation Come Home, Just Food and the VKH Agricultural Society.
