The beloved Leslieville Flea, known for its magical vintage, salvage, furniture, collectibles, records, and handcrafted goods, will be hosting its first ever virtual market.  Going online also allows us to expand our community and our reach. While we will miss physically wandering the market, exploring all the unique treasures, we’re happy that The Flea made the decision to persevere in these challenging times, so that we may continue still support local vendors, from a distance.

We made the decision to move the flea online to re-connect our vendors to our followers and the larger flea community. People visit our in person events because they love the vibe and our vendors. We know from the emails we receive that people are missing the fleas,” says Brigid Elmy, co-founder of the Leslieville Flea. “Working together with our vendors through instagram we can support vendors to continue doing what they love, stay connected to the community we have built and of course honour mom on her special day!”

Here’s How It Works:

From Sunday May 3rd-10th, a select group of vendors will be taking over the Leslieville Flea Instagram account. Each day a few vendors will be featuring their best products. “We can’t wait to see how our vendors use their creative energies to promote their goods and how people react to their posts!”, says Elmy.

Some of the vendors of the upcoming flea include Under The Stairs Paper Co Stationery, Sourced & Salvaged Candles, Sage and Thistle skincare, Omo Bamboo Shop, Simple Pantry Soups, Mid 20th Lounge Home Decor, and more! Once you find something special, you can liaise directly with the vendors to arrange delivery or contactless pickup.

This is a wonderful way to support small business, local artisans and show mom some love! Follow them on Instagram now, and get ready to fall in love with some one-of-a-kind treasures.
