It’s fair to say we have a wee crush on the island nation of Iceland. Lucky for us, the Drake shares our feelings, and they’re celebrating Iceland from March 21st-24th, with music, art, food and drink. A nightly Iceland Prix Fixe, created in collaboration with Icelandic chef Hákon Már Örvarsson, will feature authentic tastes like fish, free-range lamb, and skyr. (Skyr is a cool yogurt-cheese type thing that we are extremely excited to try.) Wash it all down with the Sons and Daughters, a specially-crafted cocktail made with Reyka.

Once you’re done eating and toasting, you can take in some of Iceland’s culture from the comfort of Queen West. During Canadian Music Week, the Iceland Airwaves Showcase will feature Endless Dark (who have an Alexis on Fire vibe), Ásgeir Trausti (a singer-songwriter currently making the rounds at SXSW), Soley, (who has toured with Of Monsters and Men), and the Apparat Organ Quartet (who list Kraftwerk and Daft Punk as influences). And don’t miss the site-specific work from Icelandic painter Davíð Örn Halldórsson in the lobby!
