Shakespeare in High Park is definitely a reason that makes Toronto a magical place during summertime. The 2012 season will launch with A Midsummer Night’s Dream and opening night is officially June 28th; gates open at 6pm and show starts at 8pm.

Presented by Canadian Stage, this is a pay-what-you-can event, with a suggested donation of $20. Pack a picnic, bring a blankie and get comfy under the stars! Let Puck lead you to a world far away from your own, get lost betwixt lovers and let the powers of the forest cast a spell on you.

This is a summer must! It is also makes for quite the romantic evening outdoors. Laugh and be moved by Shakespeare’s enchanting light-hearted romantic comedy and then SMOOCH in the park. (We are all about making out in the park.)

The Amphitheatre is located just east of the Grenadier Restaurant. Shakespeare in High Park runs until Sep 2, check The Canadian Stage site for listings and details.

The course of true love never did run smooth but it will run smoother if you DO THIS.
