The Ride and Go Feast: The Tastiest New Way To Do The City

What happens when 24 hungry foodies board a bus and unleash their cravings on the city for one night? A tasty, tasty tour of Toronto ensues.

Every last Sunday of the month, the Culinary Adventure Company and View the Vibe whisk voracious food enthusiasts away on a sense-stirring tour full of surprises and tasty treats from one end of the city to the other. Eaters get to hit 3 different stops—one for cock n’ apps, one for before-dinner amuse bouchees, one for the main course, then a final stop for dessert. Each stop is a mystery. Participants can expect to give themselves over to pure enjoyment. Sound like a totally divine way to spend an evening or what?

As you eat and go, you’ll learn some cool history (did you know Toronto owes its hog town nickname to peameal bacon?) mix n’ mingle with like minded food fans and of course, eat and drink with reckless, reckless abandon. The second Ride and Go Feast will be TIFF themed. Think glitz and glamour, Hollywood, red carpet, red lipstick rimmed martini glasses, artsy canapés … we could go on, but it’s making us too hungry. This time, the “bus” will be a little more posh, so guests are encouraged to wear their best. (Elastic waistbands welcome, though.)
