With just over 12 hours to go until Christmas morning, some truly thrill-seeking folks have yet to finish their shopping. Luckily for them, there is a little North American chain called 7-11, an oft-overlooked Christmas shopping haven. Open 24 hours even on Christmas, it’s a last-minute shopper’s dream, with something for everyone on your list.

For your boyfriend:
Maybe you didn’t realize you two were exchanging gifts, or maybe you’re just a chronic last-minute shopper, but don’t despair! You can pick up Beatles RockBand, some condoms and a Hooters gift card for him at 7-11 and make all of his wildest holiday dreams come true. Best. Girlfriend. Ever.

For your fashionista older sister:
Pick up an extra-large copy of Vogue and a Bluetooth headset so she won’t get pulled over on the road a la Lohan for chatting on her Blackberry.

For your stoner younger brother:
You can’t go wrong with a fancy Zippo lighter and one of his favourite Christmas movies (National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, anyone?). Or, really spoil him with an Xbox 360 game like Halo Wars. Throw in a 7-11 gift card for those munchies, because he isn’t fooling anyone.

For your pappy:
He keeps trying to ask you how to download his favourite Steely Dan album, so make things a little easier on him by picking him up an iTunes gift card. Or, if he’s more the literary type, he can spend hours picking out books with an Amazon.com gift certificate.

For your mother:
She probably wouldn’t like that you’re shopping on Christmas Eve, but luckily, when 7-11 has Sears and AMC gift cards she doesn’t ever have to know from whence they came. She can pick up her favourite perfume or cosmetics with the Sears card, and you guys can go see the new Daniel Day Lewis movie Nine with the AMC gift card – quality mother-daughter time is the gift that keeps on giving.

For your grandparents:
If your grandparents are anything like mine, they are the original frugalistas. Get them a Snuggie if they still haven’t turned on the blessed heat, or get them a pre-paid cell phone to put in the car in case of emergency, since they definitely haven’t hopped on that train yet.

We’re not sponsored by 7-11, but maybe we should be. Go forth and gift, and have holly jolly holidays!
