Exhibitionists, take note: finally, the chance to show off your vocab and your genitals!

Tonight, Wednesday March 26, at Mainline Theatre, watch smarty-pants lose both their pants and their smarts at Strip Spelling Bee 5. It’s strip poker-meets-spelling bee, played in front of a live audience of inebriated hooters and hecklers who want to see some smart and sexy skin!

Here’s how the game works: One by one, participants are asked to spell a word. If they get it right, they sit down. If they get it wrong, they must remove a third of their clothing, and that is considered their first “strike”. When they misspell a second word, that is their second strike and they must striptease another third off. A third and final strike requires that they strip down to their underwear (Or, naked – whichever they prefer). The winner is the last, least naked person standing. Anyone can drop out of the competition at any time after the completion of the second round.

Anyone can play, but space is limited to the first 15. All striptease spellers get a free drink, and do not pay cover.

Prizes will be awarded to best speller and the best strip teaser. Strip Spelling Bee 5 has a strict NO pictures policy; anyone who sees and reports surreptitious photo snappers is rewarded with a free drink. All events are queer, trans and senior-friendly.

Sign-up at 9:30pm. Bee begins at 10pm. $10 (unless you want to strip and spell, then it’s free!)
