FAN EXPO Canada

Canada’s largest comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming convention returns for its 31st edition, bringing another massive celebration of fandom to the city with a stellar lineup of celebrity guests. This year’s lineup includes Mark Hamill, John Cena, the stars of K-Pop Demon Hunters, the hobbits from The Lord of the Rings, Erin Moriarty from The Boys, and many more. Lunar Sway: Advanced Screening

Lunar Sway is making its way around the world on the festival circuit, with advanced screenings coming to Toronto’s Paradise Theatre. Set against the scenic backdrop of a dusty desert town, the film follows a group of eccentric misfits struggling to find connection. At the heart of the story is a young man searching for love in all the wrong places, whose life takes an unexpected turn when his estranged birth mother suddenly reappears. As the two quickly form a bond, their connection is complicated by secrets and ulterior motives. Each screening will be followed by a Q&A with actors Liza Weil, Grace Glowicki, and Kaden Connors, alongside director Nick Butler. More info.
