Think Pink

Every year Leslie Grove Gallery selects a colour to feature in their January exhibition. This year, gallery attendees will see every shade of pink there is at Think Pink. The exhibit will feature the works of esteemed artists like Barbara Ackerman and Kim Benoit, all of them using pink as their north star. Each piece on display captures the love, light, and calmness associated with this vibrant colour, allowing for everyone to look at it from a whole new light. More info.

Sketch to The Death

This comedy tournament will keep you laughing out loud, with over 64 sketch comedy troupes taking their chances at being crowned Toronto Sketch Champions. Throughout the next eight weeks, emerging comedians and established acts will take the stage in a rapid fire competition where the audience and the panel of judges can vote for their favourites to win. Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to hear Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons played by a live orchestra, you’ll be pleased to know that the Toronto Symphony Orchestra will perform it  this week. Led by Concertmaster Jonathan Crow and played by principal musicians Sarah Jeffrey, Heidi Elise Bearcroft, and Rémi Pelletier, experience the power and grace of this Baroque repertoire. More info.

Ophis

In this reimagining of Medusa, audiences will be encouraged to unravel the mystery behind the myth. Ophis is a daring retelling of a tale as old as time, with Medusa being less so a victim of a curse but rather a symbol of empowerment and resilience. This theatre production is an emotional journey, where love, vulnerability, and self-discovery take centre stage. It also offers a modern take on Greek mythology, inviting viewers to confront complexities of identity and power dynamics. More info.

Join a free-to-the-public tour of Xpace Cultural Centre’s latest exhibition season: Dream, Desire, Despair. The tour consists of three gallery spaces that include artworks by Nicole Beno and Maddy Young. Each exhibition focuses on how dreams emerge, how desire can push and complicate us, and how moments of despair can coexist with hope. Some will invite intimacy while others will challenge familiarity. Together, these works will embrace contradiction and shifting perspectives. More info.

Vision Board Making + Guided Goal Setting
