12 pm Make It @ Beaver Hall Gallery, 29 McCaul St. Over 15 local artists, designers, and craftspeople showcase the stuff they do. Everything from handmade lunch bags to accessories made from repurposed microbrewery materials. Suggested $2 entry donation to benefit the Furniture Bank.  

12 pm The 2nd Indie Literary Market @ Clinton’s, 693 Bloor St. W. Toronto’s only all-literary indie-publisher showcase! Meet dozens of Canadian literary presses and purchase publications that may not be available in bookstores. 

12 pm Queen West Gallery Tour @ The Drake Hotel. Explore the galleries and project spaces along the trendy strip beginning at the Gladstone Hotel and returning to the Drake café for coffee, treats, and conversation with Betty Ann Jordan, one of Toronto’s most informative art experts. $15 each or $25 for 2.  

7 pm Bike-in Movie Night: Free Outdoor Screening of E.T. @ Metro Square Parkette, 55 John St. Like the drive-in, minus the cars. Bring: bicycles, lawn chairs, blankets, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. 

10 pm Lust for Life @ The Garrison, 1197 Dundas St. W. A night of music, dancing, and celebrating the lives of those who’ve survived and lost their battle with cancer. Dance to Lady Gaga, Hot Chip and Depeche Mode while donating to a good cause! All proceeds from the cover will go to the Canadian Cancer Society and Kat’s Relay for Life team, the Cancer Fighters. $5.
